My nephew and I got started in cleaning up the backyard yesterday. The ivy is so thick it is ridiculous. We got about 30-40% of the way through, finding a hidden old retaining wall. More to come (maybe in a few weeks I’m exhausted).

My wife and I have just moved into our first house, and I’m happy to say that I now actually own a backyard. Also, I am happy to say that I have a hose for the first time! Future posts will hopefully show work in the yard, setting up of benches, and hopefully some ground growing. It’s been a busy couple of months so I haven’t really had time to post but I hope to get more posts soon.
For now I will leave you with some shots of the backyard. It does need a bit of work…
