Since it’s the dead of winter, bonsai growing and work is slow so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite photos from a trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire this past September. We spent a day hiking what we could and ended up hiking up a small mountain called Mt. Willard.
We went a bit early and we didn’t see peak color in the forests, but it was still a nice and beautiful trip. My wife and I can say that we climbed our first mountain and we’re pretty proud of that. I have permits to collect 4 trees here this year so I’ll be back in the end of March or so. You’ll also notice an Eastern Hemlock with an interesting twist on the side of path. Enjoy!
